SXSW 2010 Panel Ideas

So, once again, I’ve decided to throw my hat into the digital ring and try to host a panel for SXSW Interactive 2010.  And, once again, I need your votes to help make these panels happen.  My ideas are up here (Links as Language) and here (Suck.com Reunion).

Links as Language: The Advent of 3D Writing

This is basically the talk I’ve given for years about how hyperlinks have changed the way we read and write and how posts like this don’t make any sense without them.  People have enjoyed it before and I hope they’ll enjoy again, this time with panelists.  Vote for it here.

The Panel That Sucked: A Suck.com Reunion

Is just what it sounds like.  I’ll get together as many former Suck.com writers as I can and maybe throw in a modern satirist (I’m looking at you, Baratunde!) for perspective.  For those of you who don’t know, Suck.com was the awesomest Web site in the nascent late-90′s early-aught’s Internetosphere.  Funny. As. Hell.  And a huge influence on my writing style, but don’t hold that against them.  Vote for the panel here.

My friends are pitching, too.

Vote for the panel C.C. is on here (all about passion, which I’m all for).

Vote for the panel Carla Borsoi is pitching here (all about what to do with online communities that suddenly lose the technology/platform they use to communicate).
