My relationship with my dad is complicated. Suffice it to say I first met him when I was 25 years old. The circumstances surrounding why that happened that way are complex and leave no heroes and no villains.
In the end, though, to see him there for Kiran and to be there myself for Kiran means so much more in that context; and so this photo is…important.
